The Process
Phase 1
Schedule your session or fill out an inquiry for a group session
We have an intake form that you filled out and we will be going over this at the beginning.
This is where we have a discussion to reaffirm before the session on exactly what you are expecting and wanting. If your company has brand standards this is where you show us what is needed. If you just need one image let us know up front your intentions and we can do a shorter or longer session depending on your needs.
If you are doing a branding, modeling, dating session please show us some sample images that you like or a mood board ( a group of images that you like )
Phase 2
Headshot photography session
If you don’t know how to pose- no problem, we will guide you through different poses and direct you through the process. We put on your favorite music, make it fun and banter.
During the photoshoot we will be streaming the images to a laptop unless we are outside. You will be able to see the photos during the session. If we shoot outside after that block we will put the images on a computer so you can see them.
Please give us feedback during the session. We want to make you happy. It takes time to get comfortable in front of a camera. It is normal to be nervous, focus on the music and you’ll notice the nervousness will go away.
We want to know that you like images, or if you don't. Do you have a preference on which side of your face. Are there things you want to emphasize or not emphasize about yourself.
Phase 3
Culling through the images and making your selections
There is a few phase of going through the images. First phase, we go through the images and you let us know which image you like. Round two we see the images in context of each other and narrow them down until we get to your final images.
If after going through the culling phase you’re not happy let us know and we will continue the photoshoot.
The final images are $100/ image and you can get as many or as little as you want.
Let us know if there is specific retouching requests.
Examples “ make me skinny” “ remove gap in teeth” “ make my neck smaller” “ straighten my tie” “ make me look younger”
Otherwise the standard retouching includes : skin enhancement, removal of blemishes, shave marks, whitening of teeth, and lightening of fine lines.
Phase 4
Images get sent to the retoucher
It takes 1-3 business days for the retouching to be completed. If you need the images retouched and delivered the same day there is a rush fee of $100.
Phase 5
Images get delivered to your email.
Once the retouching is complete we will send you two different versions of the file. One for printing and the other for web use.
If you are doing any resizing of the images be sure to do that from the “print” size file.
We do save the data but it is not guaranteed for the future if you lose your copy.
When you receive the images be sure to save a few different copies of the images in different places for safe keeping.
